LAS Bake Sale!
Will be held after each Mass the weekend of Mother`s day, May 12th/13th. Support this wonderful organization that does so much for our parish!




Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Plan on spending time before the Blessed Sacrament in Eucharistic Adoration. A beautiful way to rest in the arms of Christ. Always the third Wednesday of the month following the 5 pm Mass. From 5:30 pm - 9 pm.
The next date for Adoration is May 16th.

"W.O.W." Women of the Word - Purity Conference!
Will be held for the first time at Christ the King! All young ladies of high school age are invited. Cost is only $25! From 9 am - 3 pm. Wonderful speakers, great music and lunch provided. Annual Parish Picnic!
Mark your calendars today and plan to join us for the annual picnic at Christ the King! Will be Sunday, June 3rd from 12 pm - 3 pm. There will be hamburgers and hotdogs for all compliments of the Knights of Columbus. Just bring your soda or water, lawn chairs, canopies and plan to enjoy the afternoon with us. There will be face painting, horse rides, popcorn, sno cones, a jumper/water slide, kiddie games, a cake walk and lots of fun. There will also be cake to celebrate Father Wayne`s 17th Anniversary of Ordination (6/3/1995). No charge, no cost! Call the parish office if you wish to help with this event!

Tickets only $50 per person!
Join us for a very special and entertaining afternoon in support of a very worthy cause! CC helps those in need within the Southwest region regardless of creed, gender or religious affiliation. The net proceeds from this yearly fundraiser go a long way to serving those in need in our community. The cost of admission gives you the opportunity to bid on silent and live items (auctioneer - Hal McMillin) donated by generous individuals throughout the community, a delicious buffet brunch, drinks and last but not least.....live Jazz music by the Lake Charles Jazz Katz and Jazzy numbers sung by talented clergy from our Diocese! A must see event! Tickets can be purchased at our parish office, OLQH parish office and Catholic Charities on Second Avenue.
